Ultra Marathon Caballo Blanco 2022

Registration for international Athletes to the 2022 Ultra Marathon Caballo Blanco is now open. After last year’s cancellation due to concerns surrounding the Covid Pandemic, we are all super excited to be able to get back to experience the magic of the Sierra Tarahumara.

The Ultra Caballo Blanco is a true running pilgrimage and one of Ultra Running’s legendary events. Started by Micah True (El Caballo Blanco) twenty years ago in support of the Raramuri communities of the Sierra Tarahumara, the race has become so much more than just a running event. A long weekend where athletes from over 20 countries come together in the bottom of the beautiful Urique Chihuahua canyon and experience the culture, music, and majesty of the Barrancas del Cobre in North Central Mexico.

True Messages will again be supporting and helping sponsor the event in honor of the Raramuri.  As always one of the highlights of the weekend is the Caballitos runs where over 700 youth run free and enjoy a party and festivities and celebration along everyone in attendance.
