Caballitos Runs 2022

Not only one of our favorite projects to support, but also we think one of the best days of the year. What is better than 800 young runners coming together in the bottom of a canyon in the middle of the remote Sierra Tarahumara to run together and celebrate this special weekend of the Ultra Caballo Blanco.

In past years we have been able to hook these young athletes up with backpacks, school supplies, clothing, bikes, toys, etc. We try to make the day one they remember all year by having a party with food, music, dance, clowns, cake, and all the fun stuff.

We would greatly appreciate your help if you can. Logistically this year it’s still a little complicated to get physical donations down to the Sierra, so we are asking if you can provide financial support this year only and we will source as much as we can locally.

Of course the most awesome thing you could do is to come down and run with these kids - they just love that. But, if you can’t make the journey this year, run with them in spirit on March 5th wherever you are.

As always, your Korima and compassion is greatly appreciated.
